Meal worth waiting for

I was believing for a home and in order to get this home we had to make an offer. If anyone has ever purchased a home they know that if they don’t have the cash to pay for the home it has to be financed by a loan company. These companies make their money by backing consumers with resources for the home. So initially you make an offer on the house for an amount that you want to pay. After you make that offer the seller accepts it, makes a counteroffer or declines it. In the situation that they counter your offer, then you will get the opportunity to accept it or decline it. If you accept it then you will go through a process of inspections, appraisal and other paperwork.

Well, in my case we wanted to make sure it appraised at the amount we offered so we looked at a way to make sure if the appraisal was lower or higher we would not lose the home. The problem with that was even though we believed God for this home we didn’t trust him for the process.

See God wants to see if your trust Him even when things don’t line or show up the way you believe they should and when they should.

How can you say you win even when you’re losing when you don’t believe it yourself. Remember that He said He wouldn’t hold any good things from you but if it’s good it make take time. Trust God’s time because His recipe is designed to create the right meal to satisfy your appetite. And you know how we brag about a good meal.

Mary mindset

If you ever look at your life as a person and a believer you might be like me sometimes. I know that I should be focused on what God has purposed me to do but it’s not that way on many occasions. I’ve sat down looking at ways to make stuff happen like, manipulating items and looking at numbers or just worrying about if it will workout.

Martha too was looking at how she could impress, take care and feed Jesus and that took her mind off what He really needed. Mary was totally focused on Jesus and took directions from his spirit and not what man insist.

We should slow down, meditate, read God’s word and listen to His direction. I know it maybe hard to be directed from someone we don’t have a relationship with. So, if you want that perfect peace seek His hand, mind and heart. He will direct you perfectly.

Waiting for an answer

This summer has been great and trying. Making major decisions in life can be a faith builder and a fear exposer. The Bible’s says many times when an angel shows up “fear not!” And scripture says that God has not given us a spirit of fear but truthfully we still become fearful.

I know that fear is a natural reaction to things you can control but I believe that God knew we would fear even though He didn’t give it to us He did give us “free choice,” and because of that we will experience many types of emotions and feelings. So I got that off my chest and now that I’ve recognized the symptoms of disbelief or doubts now we need to seek solutions.

So in the word God said that His plans for us is to prosper and be in good health. Well when we fear we are causing our physical and mental health to decline. Not necessarily to great sufferance but to some pain, agony and maybe depression. Those adjectives are decoys to what God has promised you and that is “yes and amen.” He will “never” withhold anything good from you. God’s word says we can have all things through Him who strengthens you. Hold on to His word and promises. Hold on and don’t let go. Fear has to flee.

As I started talk about my major decision I had and have to make I must believe that if they line up with his word and promises I am going to be great and satisfied beyond measure. His gift far exceeds my wants and needs.
