I have a purpose without a pulpit!

Many of us are seeking what God has purposed us to do. From our experience we normally equate God’s purposes with preaching. If you’ve grown up going to church this example was all you had, your pastor preaching from the pulpit. Some of us never got outside the four walls to minister and witness to the loss. Even in our own home we may have been reluctant to demonstrate or emulate the opportunity to encourage serving in your purpose outside of the church.

Let us not miss the opportunity to use your purpose that God has given us right where you are. Use the tools that have been created to reach the mass, such as the cell phone, social media, blogging , podcasing, evangelizing while shopping and ministing to your family.

We don’t think about all of the opportunities we have to share the truth. If you’re shopping for a car and the salesperson is communicating the features of the car, share the benefits of salvation to them.  When you are checking out at the grocery store, be kind, show your light and if they compliment you about your mannerism explain to them that it’s because of your relationship with Christ.  If you notice someone is disturbed, asked if you can pray with them.  In all your ministring be safe and make good judgement. Also, prior to any ministry ask God for His covering and direction to who He has for you to minister to.

Just remember in all that we do for the Kingdom God get the praise and glory.  Your pulpit is where God lead you attached to Him and your purpose.
