Wait on the Lord

Growing up I’ve always been slim. I could eat anything I want and I wouldn’t gain an ounce. I know we all know someone like that. But now that I’m older I gaining weight. Yes, weight but not necessarily in areas that I need it in.

Many of us may have weight concerns but most of us have a wait problems. We want what we want and we want it now. We don’t necessarily prayed for what we want; we begged, plead and try to justify “why” we should have it. As a Christian we use the word to justify the why such as Mark 11:24

I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.

God word does lie but no where in this verse does it say you don’t have to Wait.

I know you are a faithful member. You tithe and you live right. Ok, Keep on living holy and Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Time is the ingredients to waiting but remember in time God is the one who give to us our needs and wants.

So we need to continue to workout by faithfully reading God’s word, praying, seeking His face, being His instrumental of praise and keeping the faith. All of these tools will help us with our wait problem.

Don’t lose hope when our hope ( as my parents would say) is loosening you to see if you’re faithful or faithless.

He said he’ll never leave us or forsake us. Wait on the lord. He will answer your prayers.
